SATURDAY 9

1. When was the last time you bought something for someone else, and what was it?
Last night I bought my daughter, Gracie, a pack of gum.
2. When was the last time you complimented someone, and what was their reaction?

I usually include a pat on the back when I leave a comment if someone needs it or has done a super job on something. Most email back or leave a comment in turn.
3. When was the last time you had to return a purchase to the store? What was it and why?
Funny that question is here right now. I'm trying to decide when I can find the time to return a sub that has an "off" taste to Safeway.
4. When was the last time you had an ice cream cone?
Gracie and I love ice cream cones, especially chocolate. I try to keep a supply of ice cream and rainbow cones on hand.
5. When was the last time you had to go to the doctor's office?
Too long. Before I moved to Washington, I had appointments all the time. Since I moved it's been almost a year since I've even seen my family doctor, let alone the specialists I should be seeing!
6. When was the last time you were embarrassed by something you did? What was it and what happened?
Giving a talk at church that lasted 25 minutes instead of the 5-7 it was supposed to be...
7. When was the last time a stranger was kind to you?
Just yesterday a stranger asked what she could do to help after I SLIPPED on something.
8. When was the last time you locked yourself out of your home? What did you do?
Luckily it's been a very long time but when it happened I sent one of the kids through a window. Another time I had to break a window.
9. When was the last time you thought about cheating (on anything, a test or a person)?
Never cheated on a test and never cheated on anyone either. But it was tempting many times to cheat on my taxes. With my luck, though I would have been the one to get caught!

Saturday 9: You Like Me Too Much

1. If everyone liked each other, what would we complain about?

Probably how we can't stand being so alike! "I hate looking at your face in the mirror every single morning!"

2. If you were most powerful person in the world, how would you use that power?

First, of all, I would attempt to end starvation by replacing every single government leader in every single country that is not right now at this moment attempting to eradicate the problem of world hunger!

3. If had exactly one year to live, what are the three things you'd want to do before you died?

First, I'd want to go to Ireland. Second, I'd like to meet Bill and Hilary Clinton. Thirdly, I'd like to be able to see all my grandchildren because I have 4 I've never seen.

4. If you could change one thing about the world, what would that one thing be?

There would be no more wars; that word would be erased from the dictionary.

5. If you could take one thing back, what would that one thing be?

I'd take back all the hurtful words I'd ever said to anyone.

6. If you were stuck on an island forever but had all the water, food and shelter you needed. What would be the three other things you'd bring with you?

1. Books.  2. A horse.  3. My husband. Not necessarily in that order.

7. If the internet didn't exist, would the quality of life go up or down?
I think it would even out fairly quickly since there are still a very high percentage of those still around who know life "before the web" in the good ole days!

8. If a million dollars fell off a back of a truck, would you keep it?
Depends on what kind of a truck it was!  Think about it!!!

9. What is something you said, something you stole, something you did wrong?

Geez! When I was a kid I would steal candy. As an adult I suppose taking office supplies from work.

Saturday 9: Thunking on a Saturday

1. You are walking down a rainy road. There is a five hundred dollar bill on the road. You look around and except for someone a half block away, you are alone. You naturally pick up the bill and put it away. That person approaching stops and says, "I saw you pick up that money. It's mine." You ask how much it was. She yells, "Are you calling me a liar?" What do you do?I would repeat the question. If she can't tell you much it was for then it's not hers. And I'd tell her that yes, I'm calling her a liar!



2. If I were to inspect your guest bathroom, how would I find it?
Neat as a pin, cause I don't have one.
3. You are given a state of the art bow and arrow. Who or what is your first target (after a lesson or two)?
I don't have the strength to  hold a bow and arrow.
4. The doorbell rings. The person at the door is wearing a raincoat and you know them. They flash you and are completely naked. Other than your S/O, who would you think would it would be and would guess you'd find that funny? Why do you guess that person and would you laugh or be pissed off?
Don't have a clue what you're asking.
5. What do you call a male Ladybug?
Mr. Ladybug
6. Your friends throw you a party. They've got a big national music star to come and perform. It is someone you detest. Do you make believe you like the songs or do you fess up and get the star out of the party?
Grin and bear it. It's the thought that counts!
7. What's your favorite breed of wild, mean attack dogs?
The dead kind.
8. If I called your high school guidance counselor, what would they say about you?
Great kid.
9. Car A is moving at 63 miles an hour. 4 people are in the Car A. Car B is moving at 22 miles an hour. There is a driver and passenger who just came from a hotel while cheating on their spouses in Car B. They will crash into each other in exactly 3.5 minutes. What are your fun plans for this Labor day Weekend while these six people meet a brutal and gruesome death??
