From the time I was a baby, my mother would play this classical music whenever I was sick, feeling down, or depressed. It is such uplifting and thoroughly fascinating music. Even to this day, I get goosebumps listening. I know it's long and in two parts but grab a cup of coffee or tea and come along and lose yourself in total joy!
Tchaikovsky - violin concerto - Allegro moderato part I
Tchaikovsky - violin concerto - Allegro moderato part II
Beautiful music. Being totally unmusical myself, I always wonder how someone can come up with music like this.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's nice to hear some Tchaikovsky other than The Nutcracker. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBack in my teaching days, I used to play classical music during Creative Writing time. Research suggests that classical music help stimulates students creative side. When I became a mom, I played classical music for my babies in utero and during playtime. My girls still like it.
Thanks for sharing. Happy MM! :-)
I enjoyed and so appreciate listening to beautiful music today. Tchaikovsky - one of the best!
ReplyDeleteBack in college we had this American-Japanese professor who played classical music while we're battling with his killer exams.
Like Run DMT, I also played classical for my kid in utero. And right now I'm playing your pick as my kid, now 5 is fast asleep. Should make him sleep more and I can blog more :) Thanks for your amazing choices!
